Fermentation creates beneficial enzymes, b-vitamins, Omega-3’s and various strains of probiotics, and science has shown a link between the incorporating probiotic rich foods into your diet and overall health.

Basic fermented foods are Sauerkraut, Kombucha, Plain yoghurt (organic), coconut yoghurt, KimChi.  But you don’t necessarily want to eat sauerkraut every day, thats where coconut kefir and probiotic supplements can come in handy!

Apple Cider Vinegar is possibly one of the best ‘foods’ around, you can use it to clean, wash your skin and hair (it makes hair super shiny) and is amazing for your digestion. Simply have a teaspoon in half a glass of warm water half an hour before meals. It helps to activate stomach acids and break down foods quicker making it great if you suffer from indigestion. It can also help with fertility and skin disorders.
